Residential Nursing home Manager – Norfolk/ Suffolk

Dove Resourcing is currently assisting a reputable Healthcare Company to source a Nursing Care Home Manager for a well-established Home near Bury St Edmonds.

The large home sleeps 40+ residents with 32 ensuite rooms and is currently achieving full occupancy. With a broad scope of specialist care categories the central aim of the home is to provide residents with individually tailored care plans that are focused on their needs. The home has always utilised a person centred approach to care, creating a positive outlook and environment while focusing on relationships and quality of life.

The successful applicant will be expected to oversee the running of the nursing home while understanding and acting on the Company’s values and vision.

As the Nursing home manager you will be expected to;

• Oversee the recruitment process for many different posts required by the Home.
• Implement high quality of specialised dementia care for the elderly.
• Maintain professional development through attending and contributing to staff training, supervisions and meetings.
• Maintain a high quality of service.
• Provide leadership and support to staff.
• Develop and implement annual plan while working closely with operations managers of the group.
• Monitor and control the day to day expenditure within limits set in the budgets.
• Operate in accordance with CQC legislations ensuring the home meets all regulatory requirements.

This position is available to applicants with a level 5 diploma (QCF) with years of relevant management experience and a proven track record with the CQC. As the vacancy is with a nursing home it is essential that applicants are registered as a nurse with a passionate person centred approach. The ideal candidate will be ambitious, focused on establishing the highest standard of Dementia care for service users.

• £45,000 + Performance Related Pay.
